This weeks theme at open ended art is mixing with yellow. I set him out with three colors and let him go with it…
He used a stick/straw in his painting for the first time… He would add a glob of paint onto the paper and then blow it to see it spread..

It's so great that your son loves art, I hope that when my 1 1/2 year old gets a bit older he will like it this much! The straw is a great idea. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I love the straw idea! I totally remember doing that as a kid! I will have to try that for sure… I mean my son will!! I love that you do the art too- if I didn't have a baby in my arms nearly constantly I would too! Someday I'll get my art on again!
