Tot School and Monster Tot Pack
Today we used Carissa’s Monster Tot Pack which is available for free here at Carissa’s Site 1+1+1=1. Her blog is always full of fun ideas and she has some great printable activities.
I printed them out on cardstock, cut them out and then put them into a ziplock bag
First Deen matched the letter colors to the monster of the same color.
Then he matched the same monsters to each other.
He really enjoyed matching the monster spots but I think matching may be too easy for him now because he does it really quick. My main focus though on this is for him to concentrate and actually LOOK at all the options. Deen doesn’t have the best concentration and sometimes he just skims things over so this activity’s goal for me was to make him more aware of ALL the pieces.
We did the monster puzzle together
and played a quick game of memory.
We wrapped up the activity with the big to small activity. Deen can easily identify which monster is the biggest and which is the smallest but the ones in between is what he needs to work on.
