Aaliya used glue today to add some feathers to the bird/duck coloring page.
This is such a great tactile experience. Encourage your child to touch the feathers and the cotton puff… Use the feather to touch their cheek… it will be sure to have them giggling.
It’s a great learning experience: Explain to your child how the cotton puff and feathers are soft, say out loud the colors of the feathers, you can even add crayons to the mix.
Here she is adding glue to the page using a craft stick.
To prepare this activity for your child you can free hand a bird/duck or if you’re not great at drawing just go to Google and type in “Duck coloring page” or “Bird coloring page”. Then click on the tab on the top of your page that says image. You can choose whichever picture suits you best and print it out. Have some glue ready for your child as well as a good selection of feathers and/or cotton puffs.
