Hi everyone! We are back from our holiday and we had loads of fun. Travelling with two kids:
Travelling with a 7 month old —- easy
Travelling with an almost 3 year old — Difficult A little more challenging 🙂
but that is to be expected since all of Deen’s toys could not come with us on holiday and being confined to one room at times is a bit difficult for a boy his age. It honestly was easier than we thought it would be though.
Our trip started in Singapore. Here we are at the night safari:
Sorry, the flash went overboard in this pic but this is how Aaliya spent most of her holiday… Close to me in a sling. This carrier is a ring sling, we used it a lot for quick ups and downs. I LOVE my baby carriers!
Next stop, Kuala Lampur. Here we are at the blue mosque:
And at a mall so we could shop shop shop!
Did I mention that I LOVE my carriers? 🙂 This holiday would not be possible without them. Aaliya and I spent so much time cuddling in them on our holiday and this extra close time really helped her blossom. This is a soft structured carrier. Aaliya’s weight is supported by the waist belt so my back was pain free.
Then it was our relaxing time on the Island of Penang. Here is our view from our hotel room:
How cute is that bathing suit in the picture above? I love the colors on her.
Yeah I couldn’t choose which one I liked better…
The kids swam….
and they swam….
until they could swim no more…
While Aaliya slept we did some water sports:
and para-sailing:
Here we are at the hotels Christmas dinner:
Our last stop was Phuket:
Here is monkey beach, this was a lot of fun but scary… the monkeys roam around the island so tourists come and give them banana’s but you have to watch out because the monkeys go for ANY food you have… This one guy was drinking some orange soda so the monkey grabbed it from him, stood up and drank it all up.
Phuket is honestly the most beautiful island we have been to.You are surrounded by white sand and gorgeous blue beaches. The sand is so soft on your feet and the water is the perfect temperature.
We had a great holiday but there is no place like home… We took the past few days to relax and to enjoy our time with each other.
My husband has started work today after a one month holiday… I hope he had a great break and is ready for the new year. We miss having him with us all the time and enjoyed our extra family bonding time.
I have so much catching up to do with all my favorite blogs! Good luck to me! 🙂
I hope you all enjoyed your December holiday!
This looks like a fantastic trip!
I love my baby carriers, too – they make life so much happier!
What brand is your soft structured carrier? It looks really nice!
I've got a Beco too. It is used daily at our house. 🙂
