Valentines Day is around the corner so I’ve been thinking of a few themed activities that we could do.
I came up with this printable heart activity which would work on a child’s fine motor control and pincer grasp.
Materials Required:

– Cardstock

– Stickers or Pom poms or porcupine balls.
To do the variation: Giant push pin and corkboard
You can use this printable with these tower stickers from Waltons, Clicks, or any office supply shop. They match perfectly in size.
You can also use gems or these little fuzzy balls and have your child place the gems/balls on the white spaces.
Don’t have anything that can work? Print out the page that has the little round circles on the bottom and cut them out. Your child can then glue it on.

Today I posted this picture on my Instagram account with my 2 year old toddler using this printable activity with Push Pins and it was a hit ! She had so much of fun poking into the white parts of the heart. The giant push pins can be found on amazon. I used two kitchen cloths under the paper because we didn’t have any corkboards.
What I love about this activity is that there are so many variations. You could have your child place any type of stickers in here… hearts.. butterflies.. the list is endless. Or they can use their fingers to make finger prints in that blank spot. I love when we can re-use activities in different ways and I love that this can be thrown into a ziplock bag and can be used as a quiet time activity.
