Worksheets
You can use these easy prep worksheets in so many ways! Here are my favorite:
- As part of your morning work during a unit on family and pets
- As literacy or math center activities during a unit on living things
- With small groups of students with a particular focus, e.g. math, literacy or fine motor

What To Do With Completed Activities
When the activities and worksheets are completed, here’s what you can do with them:
- Display them in the learning space. The kids will feel proud of themselves AND they can revise concepts.
- Have a ‘pet party’ where you laminate the worksheets and use them as placemats. The kids can bring any ‘animal-themed food’ like goldfish crackers!
- Have the kids each pick their favorite worksheet and create one activity file for the classroom. They can look back on it at the end of the school year to remember this fun unit. They can also each say why they’re choosing that worksheet. This will give you an idea of what kind of worksheets to use more.
