My two year old wanted an activity while I was busy in the kitchen. I needed to find something that would stimulate her while allowing me to take a step back (or five steps towards the stove…)
I set up this activity on our kitchen table. Since she is getting bored of a single sheet I mixed it up by adding four pages and taping them down. She loved this and treated the four pages as different quadrants first adding each color to each sheet and then treating it as a whole. I’ve set this ‘station’ up for my other two to invite them to create something when they return from school. It’s an almost effortless twist to a quick activity.
