During the Halloween season, we’re always looking for family fun shows to settle down and watch. This year, we’re excited to snuggle up and view The Ghost and Molly McGee on the Disney Channel!
Not only do I love the fact that it’s animated, but I also really enjoy that they’re created in short episodes meaning that we can sit down for a show, and then come back together later to enjoy another one.
This creates fun family bonding time over and over again! It also extends the Halloween excitement for the little ones, too. Put on your Halloween pajamas and tune in!
The Ghost and Molly McGee – Disney Channel Family Fun
I’m always looking for fun TV shows or movies that are family-friendly. The kids really want screen time, and to be honest, as long as it’s limited in spurts, I’m fine with it.
But I don’t want to have to stress out about them watching something that they shouldn’t be. And this is why we’re loving our time together watching The Ghost and Molly McGee.
What is The Ghost and Molly McGee about?
It’s really such a fun show! You’ll have to catch the first episode on your own…but I’ll give you a bit of a backstory to get prepared!
Molly McGee and her family move into a house, that already has a ghost who lives there. He’s not overly impressed with his new house guests, so he places a curse on Molly Mcgee, but it backfires and curses him instead!
From that moment on, everything they do is together – and you know that means a lot of silly things are going to happen!
But Molly LOVES the ghost and thinks of him as her best friend.
This show proves that friendships can happen even when it doesn’t appear that they started out that way.
Catch the first episode of The Ghost and Molly McGee here!
What age group is The Ghost of Molly McGee appropriate for?
My personal opinion as a mom is that this is great for younger viewers and audiences. I would recommend sitting and watching the first episode with them and see what you think! My kids loved it – and were ready for the rest immediately after!
Have fun watching this Disney Channel family show with the kids. It’s also available on Disney+ as well. I think that this will be a new favorite show in our house, for sure!
Don’t forget to combine screen time and learning!
While the kids are wanting to watch this show, you can have a few fun crafts and learning activities for them to do before and after! I love to have them do this Hidden Ghost Halloween Painting as a way to have more ghost fun!
