A is 2 years and 3 months old (27 months old)
A started the week doing puzzles (She loves puzzles).
She did a few activities in her Kumon Cut and Paste book. She loves this book and does not want to stop at just two-four pages.
I have a few printable activities that are very similar to this. Click on the image or the link below to go to the post.
She used Carissa’s letter D Tot School Printables. She put a sticker on all the upper and lowercase D’s.
She also surprisingly loved the clothespin dinosaur activity from Confessions of A Homeschooler. I will definitely be letting A do more of the Letter of the Week preschool activities.
I printed this push pin D Activity for my son, D, but he didn’t want to do it. A jumped at the chance and really loved it! I just wish they sold jumbo push pins here in South Africa.
She also transferred pom poms with a spoon from one bowl to another.
She did a water
dropping pouring activity.
Note to self: Use a glass bottle. Plastic is way too light!
She sorted bears according to color.
She giggled that the purple bear was in the green container.
“Oops Mama!”
She tried to glue the pieces while on her face… she found this hilarious.
The things that kids find amusing is very interesting. I am glad though that she was exploring in a non conventional way.
We did our letter “D” alphabet craft. She was not very keen on doing the big “D” dinosaur although she did enjoy doing the little “d” dots.
I will be offering this as a printable in a few days.
I will also be doing a post tommorow about the trays I had out for A this week.
