These Christmas preschool tracing worksheets are great pre handwriting practice for kids. The gingerbread tracing worksheets were much loved by reader’s toddlers and preschoolers and I had many requests for a Christmas workshop themed version.
Rudolph needs some help getting to his sleigh. Santa needs to collect all the gifts and hand it out to the children. The little girl is trying to decorate her tree. Help each of these characters accomplish their given tasks.

Christmas Preschool Tracing Worksheets
These pre-writing worksheets contain handwriting exercises that encourage the development of fine motor skills necessary to write letters, words and shapes later on. You can theme the activity by putting on Christmas themed music.
The tracing lines worksheets contains straight lines, curves, and square type of lines too.
All you really need for this activity is printer paper and a pencil.
The following items are optional:
- Dry erase pockets
- dry erase markers
Print out the worksheets that are most age suitable for your child. I printed out the straight lines and the curved lines. As my 4 year old gets older, we can progress to more difficult lines and shapes.
You can print, laminate and cut into strips if you like but I prefer to just use them as is by placing them into a dry erase pocket.
I love that using these dry erase pockets means that my daughter can do the activities over and over again.
Preschool Tracing Worksheets
I have included a colored copy. I’d suggest if you print it in color, then laminate it or use the pocket.
