In this post, you’ll learn how to make some quick and easy dinosaur sensory bins.
To make the easiest dinosaur sensory bin ever, use your leftover Plastic Easter Eggs to use as dinosaur eggs. I added in some Dinosaurs (We love Safari Ltd Toobs), a tree, and some “dinosaur eggs”.
My kids have LOVED playing with the different dinosaur sensory bins that I made for them.
Dinosaur Sensory Bin 1
I presented the bin to them like above and left 1 dinosaur egg open so they could see that there was a “baby” inside.
They immediately opened the other egg to find another baby dinosaur. I also hid a few eggs underneath the sand. This fostered so much of fun, creativity, and imaginary play!
How to make the rice dinosaur sensory bin
I made colored rice in the color green.
If you don’t want to color the rice yourself at home with food coloring and vinegar, you can also opt to purchase this vibrant green rice.
Then threw it into a tub with some toys. I have these Lakeshore Learning dinosaurs. I then added a few other sensory bin tools and there it was, the bin was all ready for play.
More Dinosaur Sensory Bins
Here is another Dinosaur Sensory Bin we created using play sand and some dinosaur toob like figurines.
The possibilities for dinosaur sensory bins are endless.
This Dinosaur sensory bin from MamaJoy is available for purchase. I have purchased many sensory bins from her in the past, and I am ALWAYS happy with what we receive.
