The Thanksgiving activities for kids activity pack includes fun Thanksgiving worksheets, Thanksgiving printables and a sweet printable Thanksgiving book.
Thanksgiving is all about turkey, mashed potatoes and homemade rolls. Don’t forget the pumpkin pie. We know there is much more to this annual holiday, though. There is history within this holiday. Deep history. This Thanksgiving Printable Pack is a great way to teach children about the origins of the holiday and how it is celebrated today. Did you know The First Thanksgiving was celebrated in October 1621? This is such a wonderful, long-lasting tradition that children will love to read and learn about. My favorite part of this packet, though, is that this will help teach other areas as well, including number recognition, letter matching, and even writing.
Thanksgiving Activities
When we are going through a specific theme, I like to go all out on making it fun for the kids. When I curate our Thanksgiving activities for kids, I make sure to include some sensory activities, Thanksgiving books and Thanksgiving decorations too.
I took out some of our favorite Thanksgiving board books and picture books. We previously shared some fun activities in our post, Thanksgiving Activities Your Preschooler Will Love and it was so well received that I brought to you a fun printable pack.
This Thanksgiving activities printables pack is aimed at children in preschool and kindergarten. It is full of activities that will help children to recognize the symbols of Thanksgiving as well as build onto their math and literacy skills. The Thanksgiving worksheets are pretty cool too with tracing activities, matching the pictures and even a blank page for students to write what they are thankful for.
