Aren’t these 5 little ducks so adorable? Ducks are one of my daughter’s favorite animals, babies or full grown, but babies have a special place in her heart. They’re fuzzy and make the cutest noises! Her favorite song has been the Five Little Ducks song for as long as I can remember. I like it because it helped her grasp the concept of counting from the very start. With her love for little ducks as strong as it is, I just had to create some printable activities for her.
This Five Little Ducks printable pack contains so many fun activities that not only my daughter loved doing but that also helped her practice counting.
Five Little Ducks
This printable set is aimed for children who are just beginning or practicing the idea of counting. For children who may have not yet learned or even ones who are on the verge of counting to 5. My daughter especially loves the duck matching game as well as the counting mats.
These activities could be done all at one time, if you can keep your little one’s attention that long, or spread out over time. I like taking simple activities like these to doctor’s appointments or when we go with our family to eat at a restaurant. In times like this it keeps my daughter’s attention as well as keeping her busy in typical boring situations.

This Five Little Ducks Printable pack contains over 60 pages and includes many activities.
Whether your child is familiar with the nursery rhyme 5 Little Ducks or not, this is the perfect time to introduce or sing it together. Included in this printable pack is a poster which, once laminated, would be a good reference for your children while they are learning to count. I like to hang counting posters on our walls or tape them to the surface of her activity table. This keeps the idea in her head longer and helps it to be set in stone there.
We also included an easy to read book. Any chance my kids and I can get to read together, we all take it. This books is great to read to your child or even have older children, who may be learning how to read, try to read it. This book will help with counting, simple word recognition, and more.
Also included in this pack is a sequencing activity as well as a play mat. These are both exciting and will keep your children engaged while learning to count.
We like to laminate the play mat and use with play dough or slime also.
These are just some examples of the fantastic activities in this Five Little Ducks printable pack that we have had so much fun with.
If your child is learning to count, needs practice counting, or just loves ducks – this packet is for you!
