Best Outdoor Toys For Kids
As a mom, though, I want to make sure I have the best outdoor toys for my kids. Not ‘oh I have to have the newest and bestest’, I’m not saying that. What I want is to have outside toys for my kids that will last more than one season, help them grow and develop, have fun while playing outside and of course not cost me an arm and a leg.

There are a ton of children’s outdoor toys and outdoor playsets that kids can play with together. We know sidewalk chalk and bubbles are always a hit, but there are so many other options. Let me share with you my favorites.
If you’re wondering what are good outdoor toys for toddlers, there are some great choices on the list below!
1. Sand Table
Sand tables are great for outdoor fun. You can add in water or sand. With this table, we are using sand and my kids really enjoy playing with it. I love that it has a lid to keep it clean and from flying everywhere.
One thing that I also really love about this table is that it is large enough for multiple kids to play with.
Stepping stones are great for working on balance and core strength. Once I purchased these stepping stones, they became a FAVORITE amongst ALL my kids. I actually keep it indoors since we love to use it and are constantly walking over them. (I use these too!)
I also plan to purchase these too.
What says summer better than an inflatable jumping castle? This one is great for younger kids/toddlers. This size is appropriate for 2 year old’s. If you have older kids then you may want something larger.
While this isn’t a standalone toy of playground equipment, it’s a great toy to use outdoors.
5. Seasaw
I loved seasaws when I was young, it also was one of my favorites with my daughter. Now you can have a seasaw in your own backyard. This has bright, fun colors. The seats and handles are even comfortable.1.
Get inside a human size inflatable body suit so they can run and bounce off of each other. This is sure to bring some laughs!
The sandbox is a classic children’s outdoor toy. It is a giant sensory play place. This particular sandbox has a retractable roof, which is super awesome! It is eco-friendly, waterproof and almost 4 feet square. This is a great outdoor toy for your children & friends!

Another oversized classic. Just like our favorite tabletop connect four game, kids will love the healthy competition of this game!
9. Splash Pad
Whether your little one is 6 months old or 10 years old, when it’s warm outside – a splash pad is a go-to!

A water table is a great way to get sensory work in, while getting some sunshine and fresh air. There are tons of different places that the water can go through and have different results.

A playhouse the best way for kids to turn pretend play into outside play. This outdoor play space can be home to playing house, school, grocery store and more!
12. Cozi Coupe
These are classic fun childhood transportation. Whether while going on a walk with the family or riding around the yard, these are always a hit!
