Monthly Subscription Boxes For Kids
1. KiwiCo Subscription boxes – Kiwi Crate and Koala Crate.
If I had to choose just one monthly subscription box off this list by one company, this is the one I would choose.
Yes, there is a reason why these boxes are at the top of my list and that is because as you may recall through our monthly Kiwi Co Subscription box review posts, we LOVE these and think they are one of my best gift purchases for my children ever!
KiwiCo Boxes are phenomenal! I literally have nothing bad to say about KiwiCo! They are not just a monthly craft box for kids. Each box is geared toward strengthening children’s art, science and STEM skills with activities based on their age and skill level. The activities are always topics that are exciting and the activities are engaging. These boxes also come with every single material that is needed for each project. That makes providing wholesome and educating activities for our kids practically effortless!
Kiwi Co also has many different monthly subscription boxes for kids based on their age. Each box differs but are equally as amazing.
Koala Crate – is a play and learn box. It is geared towards 3-4 year olds. (Koala crate is one of my favorite monthly subscription boxes for toddlers. It contains art activities that are age appropriate and most of all fun! My 2 year old loves it. You can find all of our Koala Crate Reviews here.)
Update: Koala crate boxes have provided mostly an art subscription box that never fails to keep my 4 year old excited.
Kiwi Crate – is a science, art and more box. It is geared towards 5-8 year olds. (We have done many of these boxes and ABSOLUTELY loved it!)
Doodle Crate – is an art and design techniques box. It is geared towards 9-16 year olds.
Tinker Crate – is an engineering and science box. It is geared towards 9-16 year olds.

Boxes may include topics such as Ocean Science, Space, Safari Animals, and even Music. Besides the activities, there is also a fun STEAM magazine with fun activities such as puzzles, extra ideas, etc. Green Kid Crafts also has a sibling box which I think is a fantastic idea for families with more than one child.

Does your family like collecting children’s books like ours does? Bookroo is a glorious book subscription box for kids that encourages children to love to read. They will get excited when the mail comes and their new book is ready for them to read. They are chosen carefully to help stimulate children’s minds. These books even come wrapped.
If you and your family loves traveling or even the idea of traveling, this box is perfect. Little Passports will help children learn about different countries and their culture, geography and even art. Each month has a new country in focus and the activities and souvenirs are based on that country. There also other editions including Science, Early Explorers and the USA Edition. The Little Passport Science Expeditions are fun.
The only thing to take note of is that it does involve parent interactivity with the recipes it includes.
Children will enjoy traveling along with their new pen pals Sam and Sofia. Each kids box includes letters, fun souvenirs, activity sheets, stickers and more. Children’s subscription boxes can now include a glimpse of what it is like to travel to different countries.

M is for Monster box is perfect for your early learners. This monthly subscription box for kids will help you teach your toddlers and preschoolers with four different themes per month. The activities focus on ideas such as shapes, counting, alphabet and more. These boxes are excellent for young learners because the activities are simple and with in the average toddler’s attention span.
Bramble box is perfect for your little scientist. The activities included in these subscription boxes for kids help investigate science, math, art and imaginative play. Each month, hours of play will be delivered to your kids. You can get one with multiple themes or a single theme. My favorite is that the boxes include pretend play. This is such an important aspect of childhood that many people are forgetting these days.
8. Magic School Bus Scientist Box
The Magic School Bus is a classic science show. I remember watching when I was young and learning about the inside of the human body, what’s on a planet, and what’s inside of a flower. These boxes can do similar tasks and teach the most amazing things to kids!
The Applenana box is another of our favorite monthly subscription box for kids . Each box is curated around a classic or popular children’s book. My children loved going through each of the books activities together. There were a lot of “ooh’s” and “aah’s” and smiles.
