JACK AND THE BEANSTALK Activities
Jack was only trying to be helpful, wasn’t he? When he sold the cow for the beans, right? After reading this classic children’s story, children can enjoy a variety of math and literacy activities as well story sequencing with the sequencing strips and puppets. This activity pack allows you to explore the different relationships between the characters. Please note that you do not have to print out each and every page. Use the pages that are most relevant to your child’s or student’s age. Follow their interest.
Materials Required:
I would go ahead and purchase the Jack and the Beanstalk book to get started.
Here are some items that pair well with all Fun With Mama Preschool Activity Packs
This activity pack contains over 110 pages and includes a variety of fun activities for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners.
This massive printable pack includes a printable storybook, which can be printed out and stapled together. Children will love to learn to read the story themselves. They can also use this in conjunction with the story sequencing strips and pages.
Also included are puppets of the characters in this story. Once cut out, I like to laminate for added strength. Once I have laminated them, I stick the back of the story puppets onto a paddle pop stick so that little hands are able to hold them as they retell the story in their own words.
The math activities in this printable pack help children learn and practice counting from 1 to 10. They are able to do this with the number matching cards, clip cards, and I Spy fun.
There are also exciting activities like do-a-dot pages, a maze, a playdough letter activity, a fingerprint letter activity, and a push pin letter activity.
This massive printable pack also comes in two versions: One is in color and the other is in black and white for those who have limited ink for their printers.
The Jack and The Beanstalk story printable is great as a mini-sized storybook, and then you can use the Jack and The Beanstalk sequencing activity to put the story in order.
