Number Playdough Mats

I haven’t met a kid that doesn’t like play dough. Seriously, it can mold and stretch and it makes a fabulous canvas. A great way to work on counting from zero to twenty is with these fun Number Playdough Mats. Children will enjoy playing with playdough while working on their counting skills.

PRINTABLE NUMBER PLAYDOUGH MATS

These number playdough mats are great for kids who enjoy playing with playdough. They can practice making and counting the numbers from zero to twenty.

This Number Playdough Mats printable pack contains 24 pages of printable mats.

In this printable pack, children will be introduced to the all the numbers from zero through twenty. I recommend printing this printable pack out on white cardstock and then laminating before use.

These number playdough mats can be used to help children learn to recognise the numbers from zero to twenty, learn to count from zero to twenty and learn to write the numbers from zero to twenty.

There are two sets of mats. One has the number for the kids to create from playdough with the correct number of markers in the ten frames. Young children can learn to recognise the numbers and create balls to place over the dots in the ten frame. After they can do this on their own, they can move onto the mats with the blank ten frames where they will need to make their balls from playdough (or use markers) and count the correct number out themselves.

After using these mats for creating the numbers from playdough, wipe them clean and then, with a dry erase marker, kids can practice drawing the numbers zero through twenty with the same mats.
