Towards the end of the month, my daughter starts asking when her Kiwi Kids subscription box for kids will be delivered. She absolutely LOVES Kiwi Crate. She gets so unbelievably excited when the Kiwi Box arrives that all I can hope is that I have carved out the afternoon to play with her. When it comes she’s doing the activities with or without me. This is for sure her favorite monthly subscription box. This month, the Kiwi Crate box is titled Rock ‘N Roll Ramps. We built ramps, moving animals, rolling mice and more. It was so interesting to both of us to experiment with angles and movement!

How many times have you tried to get something out of a claw and failed? I can’t even count that high. My daughter on the other hand has won half of her stuffed animal pile and a few random toys all in her short 6 years of life. Her random talent of life is mastering the claw machine! So when we got this month’s Kiwi Crate we were super excited and surprised. This is literally the best box for my daughter!
Subscription Box For Kids
My daughter loves how different each kiwi kids box is. Each month is something new and exciting that most likely she has never done before. Granted, we have played with ramps before but not ones that we have created on our own.
My favorite thing about the Kiwi Crates is that the supplies are always all included (except for maybe scissors), which means there is literally NO PREP for me. This is a major mom win! I also love that the quality is high. My daughter can continue to play with the creations well after we have finished making them. The instructions are also fantastically laid out, with detailed pictures, so there is no question what’s next!
Typically there are 3 activities included and they somehow correlate together. For instance, for this Kiwi Crate, we created two different types of animals that would move down the ramp that we built as well. It was SO fun.
Activity #1: Creating The Ramp
The ramp in this kiwi kids box was super simple to put together and even easier to take apart to create a separate ramp. The instructions showed us everything we needed to do. Our fancy ramp was cool on it’s own but with the next two activities it was perfect.
Activity #2: Moving Mice
These moving mice are SO cool. I was skeptical at first. How is this card stock and a marble going to actually work together without the cardstock totally getting crushed. To my pleasant surprise, it worked perfectly. The Kiwi box mice rolled down the ramp super smooth. The two mice together even played a little round of bumper cars. This is one of my favorite things about this craft subscription box, it always surprises me!
Activity 3: Walking Animals
These walking animals were probably my favorite part of the box. The activity came with paper puzzle pieces that needed to be ‘snapped’ together. The set also included pattern stencils and ink pads. I never thought of using patterns and ink but it was so fun. You can use a blank stamp that was included to stamp onto the animal through the stencil. Then it created the look of a giraffe. How fun is that?
