Today I have created printable lunch box notes kids activity inspired by the theme of love for the month and valentines day. Kids will love the little surprise envelope and heart in their lunchbox. To find out what you have written inside they will have to color over it.
I went to Michaels and saw these beautiful hearts with envelopes and thought this would be super cute. If you don’t have a Michaels near you and would prefer to do it yourself, the printable activity has my own version of hearts and an envelope for you to use.
To Print out the activity click on the image below or here.
Directions:
Print out the hearts on cardstock.
(If you do not have cardstock then you will need to do what I did and cut the red heart as well as the white to thicken the paper. Glue the two pieces together so you now have a thicker paper heart and a nice blank canvas to write on.
With a white crayon write a message to your child. Write a note to your child with pencil/pen telling them to color the inside of the heart. Place this in your child’s lunchbox and don’t forget the marker).
You don’t have to stop there! If you do not want to do a crayon resist activity just use the heart to write messages to your kids or spouse in pen.
