Ask a 2 year old or 3 year old girl if she loves Minnie Mouse and you will get a resounding “YES”. There is something so magical about anything Disney related especially sweet little Minnie Mouse.
Color Theme: When determining your party theme it is always beneficial to first think about your color scheme. What colors does your little girl like right now? Mine loves pink. This allows you to make it more special for your child while creating a sweet memory of the different phases in her life to easily look back on (I’m sure you must have taken millions of pictures like me). Generally Minnie Mouse goes hand in hand with a pink and black color theme but I wanted something a little more unique. I wanted something a little more elegant with a slight pop so we went with a Zebra accent. (Luckily, A’s birthday skirt was a perfect match for the event!)
Materials I used to create a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party:

- Hot Pink Feather Boas
- Black Feather Boas
- Black and Pink Feather Boas
- Pink polka dot buckets – These are similar to what I have. Make sure to choose the correct size for your needs.
- These are similar to what I have
- Styrofoam balls –6 inch styrofoam ball and 2 x 3 inch circles.
- Shimmer black spray paint or black paint
- For the Minnie Mouse Head Cut outs on the cupcakes and Minnie Mouse life like pieces on the goodie bags and general decoration I used my Cricut cutting machine and the Disney Cartridge.
Here is our Minnie Mouse Zebra Themed 3rd Birthday Party:
I created the invitation card on my computer. I’ve removed my personal details on this particular card that I’m posting online (sorry future stalkers!)
As our little friends entered the party at Clamber Club they were greeted by the above display. Girls were asked to put on a pair of Minnie Mouse ears and a necklace and boys were invited to put on Mickey Mouse ears.
I created the Minnie Mouse Decoration pieces and mouse head pieces using my Cricut cutting machine and the Disney Cartridge.
All the themed decorations were created by me.
Popcorn boxes and water bottle labels were created on my computer.
You might wonder how I found a perfectly matching cupcake holder, I created that using a round foam piece, which I covered with black paper on the top and bottom and surrounded that with a cut zebra paper. I used a covered can to hold up the two layers separately. (Yes you can look twice, you would never be able to guess what it was made out of.)
I created the Minnie Mouse head table pieces by using two different sized foam circles which I painted black and then connected with toothpicks. I then made a small bow and connected that to the mouse head.
To make the styrofoam Minnie Mouse Head you need 1 6 inch styrofoam ball and 2 x 3 inch circles and some black paint. You could also use the shimmer black spray paint for this too.
I also used a lot of feather marabou’s in hot pink, black + pink and solid black to accent the decor with more pops of color and elegance.
We had balloon sculpting, face painting, a puppet show and a piñata to entertain the kids. Clamber Club also has so much equipment for the kids to play on that there was never a dull moment.
My husband always buys our kids a second birthday cake, which is always an ice cream cake from Milky Lane for every birthday party. He loves ice cream cakes and my kids love that they get to blow their candles twice!
Creating the party packs was definitely a challenge. I knew what I envisioned in my head but to actually execute this for 40 children required a lot of patience. Once complete though I was more than happy.
We had light finger foods for everyone to munch on along with a candy and dessert table.

Lovely party! Love the zebra and pink – I used the same bright pink and zebra print for my daughters’ 8 year old party that had a “save the rhino” theme – don’t ask – she is a rather unique little being. Rhinos are her passion
