We love making slime. It’s one of my kids’ favorite activities. We’re always on the hunt for unusual recipes like no-glue slime, fluffy slime, and crunchy slime. I had heard about clay slime and butter slime before, but we’d never tried it ourselves! The secret to this unusual slime recipe is a soft clay, often called Daiso clay, but you can use any soft modeling clay for this activity.

DAISO CLAY SLIME RECIPE
Making slime is a favorite in our home. We are also always looking for ways to make slime clean up easier. By using plastic cups and sticks to mix you can literally make this slime and throw away all of those mixing cups! All that would be left to clean is just putting away your glue and starch! DAISO CLAY SLIME
Follow along with these instructions to learn how to make butter slime which is the same as learning how to make Daiso clay slime!
HOW TO MAKE BUTTER SLIME
For the Daiso clay slime recipe –Add 1/2 of a cup of white glue and 1/3 of a cup of water into a container.
Mix water and glue together until it is completely mixed.
Add 1/3 of a cup of laundry starch and stir until slime forms.
If the slime is a bit sticky, you can add a little bit more starch to make it less clingy.
Soften the clay by squeezing it in your hands.
Once the clay is softened and warm, knead it into the slime.
When the clay is completely mixed into the slime, it’s done!
