Letter A Tracing and Coloring Page
This is my favorite out of all the printable pictures! It combines coloring, tracing, letter association, letter formation and helps with visual discrimination between upper case and lower case letters.
First, let the kids try to identify what each image is. You will see an alligator, ambulance, anchor, apple, and an ant! See if they can figure out what the images have in common e.g. the circles in the tires of the ambulance and the ant’s face. It’s a fun way to engage their observational skills!
Once they realize the images all begin with the same letter, ask them to name more things like an ape or an astronaut! This develops their working memory.
Fancy Patterned A
This page is great for enhancing the fine motor skills and creativity of kindergarteners. The kids can color each segment a unique color and create different variations.
You can also laminate this page and let them color it in using dry-erase markers. This is a great option because they can easily erase and change colors.
Beautiful and Intricate Floral A
