Printable Letter C Craft: C is for Caterpillar

My NEW updated alphabet crafts activity pack is such a fun way to learn about each letter of the alphabet through hands-on activities. You can easily use this as a great letter of the week craft idea whilst incorporating multiple elements of learning.

We did a very thorough set of letter c activities from contact letter painting, alphabet fishing all the way to caterpillar play dough mats. We also did the butterfly life cycle activity so we could watch our caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies. You can find all of our printable letter c crafts and activities here.

Materials Required For The Printable Letter Activity:

Scissors
Cardstock
Colored Paper
Glue Stick
Round Punch (Optional for easier and faster cutting.)

Directions for the letter C Template:

Print out the letter c is for caterpillar template on to white Cardstock paper. This makes the paper easier to handle for your kids and makes it look nicer once your child glues it on.

Cut out the circle. You can use a Round Circle Punch for this. My 3 year old and 7 year old loved trying to place the circle cutter in the correct place and then loved squeezing it. My 3 year old needed help but my seven year old did it herself. This part was a great way to work their visual perception and strengthen those hands and fingers. I posted a video of them doing this on Round Punch.

Have your child glue on the circles according to the example.
