Saint Patrick’s Day Themed Activities

In this printable pack, children will be introduced to leprechauns, rainbows, horseshoes and the Irish Flag.
There are a variety of math activities that help children with counting, skip counting and graphing. At the end of this pack, you will find some fun counting and alphabet ordering pages. Children will learn to count by drawing the correct number of coins in the pots and learn to write the letters of the alphabet in order on shamrocks.
There are the number and word building puzzles as well as the four and five-piece puzzles. There are also many activities that include the Irish flag; do-a-dot page, coloring page, color by letter, size sequencing cards and a number puzzle.
There are some fun St Patrick’s day coloring pages include. There is a color by number activity, dot painting, fingertip painting and q-tip painting activity too!

1. Vocabulary Word Activities – Discuss the vocabulary words. Place the cards in a sensory bin and when you find the word trace it on the worksheet.
3. Rhyming Words – Match the rhyming words then record the words you matched on the recording sheet.
5. Alphabet Matching Math Link Activity – Link the uppercase and lowercase letter coins and the beginning sound coin to the correct letter pot of gold.
2. Alphabet Hunt – Find the uppercase letters that match the letter on the pot of gold. You can use bingo chips, mini erasers or play dough on the colored copy. Use dot markers on the black and white copy.
4. Number Ten Frame Mats – Identify the number, trace it, place the matching number card on it and then use gold coins, mini erasers, bingo chips, or other objects to fill in the ten frame.
6. Sight Word Activity Gold Coins – Create the sight words with the gold coins. Color in the sheet after you create the word.
7. Pom Pom Mats – Use Pom poms to create the picture.
9. Size Sequencing Cards – Place the picture cards according to smallest to biggest or biggest to smallest. We included a matching uppercase and lowercase worksheet too.
11. Stack Your Gold – Stack gold coins on the number according to the number that is on the pot of gold. It’s better to use toy gold coins but if you don’t have them you can use the paper versions included
8. Puzzles – Build the puzzle according to the number, word, or matching pictures.
10. Activity Pages – There are a variety of worksheets included that work on math, literacy, and fine motor skills. Follow the instructions on each sheet.
12. St Patrick’s Day Tens And More – Use the cards to count the objects and then record the correct number on the recording sheet.
13. Building Tens and Ones Clip Cards- Count the blocks and clip the number. Extend the activity by using the included worksheet.
14. 3 Part Cards – Match the picture and word to the matching whole card
16. Cutting Activities – There are a a variety of themed cutting activities to work on scissor and fine motor skills. Cut on the dashed lines.
14. Dot Marker Sticker Pages – Use circle stickers or dot markers to solve cover the white circles on the picture.
15. Count and clip cards – Count the objects and then clip the number.
17. Craft Stick Puppets – Puppets the sheet after you create the word.
18. Count And Write The Room- Cut out the pictures and then glue them to a craft stick to tell a story.
20. Writing Pages – Use the writing pages to tell a story.
22. Color By Number – Color the pictures by the number color key code.
19. Catch A Leprechaun Tracing Pages – Use the tracing pages to help the children catch a Leprechaun by tracing on the dashed lines.
21. Coloring Pages – You can use these coloring pages in a variety of ways. Fill them in with markers, crayons, watercolor paints, and tissue paper or turn them into a torn paper craft
23. Worksheets Pack 1 – We included a variety of worksheets that work on math, literacy, and fine motor skills.
