How to use the hearts
Write words or letters in the page with multiple hearts using white crayon. Then have your child paint over it with watercolor paint to see the letters reveal themselves. It’s pretty cool!
We used them to create stained glass hearts using black glue and sharpie markers. The result was GORGEOUS and colorful.
The stained glass hearts was a very relaxing activity and as an adult, I really enjoyed it. I also love coloring in our Valentine Color By Number Worksheets. I find coloring very calming from my busy day with the kids.
You can use them to make heart suncatchers with contact paper and tissue paper. You just cut out the heart on the outline and add some tissue paper in your choice of colors. We then hung these on the window and they let colorful light into the house.
You can use the heart template to make shaving cream hearts like we did in the Marble Leaf Painting.
