Use different coloring materials
You can get creative with crayons, pencils, markers and even watercolors or paints to fill in the color according to the corresponding number. Just make sure to print on white cardstock if you’re working with paint.

Laminate the printables to reuse them
Slip these free color by number worksheets into laminator sheets and use dry erase markers or washable paint to fill them in. In this way, you can easily reuse them.
TIP: You can also laminate the pages after completing the activity – they look wonderful as placemats!
Use the answer key for younger kids
