These popsicle letter mats are a great way to introduce young children to the uppercase letters of the alphabet. They will enjoy building the letters with popsicle sticks, before completing the rest of the mat. This is a simple teaching letters activity for younger children.

This Popsicle Uppercase Letters printable pack contains 26 pages of printables.
In this teaching letters activity, you will find a mat for each uppercase letter of the alphabet. To prepare these mats, print out, and use as is or these laminate and have children use a dry-erase marker to complete them. Once they have finished, the pages can be stapled together to make a book or they can be laminated and held together with a binder ring.
Using these mats is easy and fun. The letter they will be working on is on the top right-hand side of the mat. The letter shown is built with popsicle sticks on the top left-hand side of the mats. Children can follow this to build their own letter before completing the rest of the activities on the mat.
The lessons in this teaching letters activity include:
- Counting the number of popsicle sticks they used to build the letter then writing this number on the line provided.
- Tracing the letter that is not in lines.
- Tracing the letter that is in lines, which shows them how to correctly write the letter.
