Materials Required
You can find all our suggested supplies for our activities pack here.
- Cardstock – to print the Christmas bingo cards and boards on. You can also print it out on white paper; cardstock is just sturdier!
- Laminator – to laminate the cards and boards.
- Bingo chips or bingo markers to place on the boards.
- To make this Bingo game extra fun, especially for kids, use holiday candies as markers. Think Hershey Kisses, candy canes, peppermints, or sweets in festive colors. Allow the kids to keep the sweets at the end of the game so that everyone feels like a winner. If you prefer not to use candy, try pom poms, tiny ornaments, or buttons.

How to prep the activity
To prepare the Christmas Bingo:
- Get your printable.
- Print out the calling cards and bingo boards on white cardstock or paper.
- If you’d like to reuse the activity, laminate the calling cards and the bingo boards.
- Tip: Store together in a clear document folder. You can add the calling cards to a zip lock bag for better organization, as well as manipulatives that can be used as markers on the boards.
How to Play Bingo:
Once you’ve prepared the activity, all that’s left to do is play BINGO and be merry! I call this version ‘Traditional Bingo’:
- Each player needs a bingo board and something to mark off their items with. This can be a marker or candies!
- A caller will draw from the calling cards; they can either show the card to the rest of the players or describe the object.
- If a player has the object, they get to mark it off.
- Continue until someone gets a BINGO (This is a complete line, either across, down, or diagonally). Basically, you need 5 in a row to win!
- You can end the game after the first person BINGO’s or you can keep the fun going!
This Christmas Bingo pack is a simple yet fun game that people of all ages can enjoy. It is a wonderful addition to Christmas party games whilst improving children’s vocabulary! You could also add the calling cards to your Christmas Sensory Bin for toddler holiday-themed fun!
Tip: If you have younger kids, team up to make playing bingo easier. It will also allow you to assist them without them realizing it!
